Berber Riad

Imagine a field of huge Olive-trees,two hundred years old, at 4 kms from Taroudant. It’s there that 10 years ago the  Tafoukt  Palace was built. He’s made of two riads enchased in the olive and orange trees, the first riad with its 2 grand towers decorated with Berber geometrical figures, offer a magnificant view on Mount Atlas.  An inside courtyard, open on the gardens, with its column gallery, ceilings made of laurel wood (Tataoui), serve 3  rooms. On the living room ceilings, cosmogonical design are ; painted, inspired by the clear night sky of the Atlas. Discover the Berber bedrooms

Fassi Riad

Take the Jasmin, roses arch, she will lead you to Fassi Riad passing by a fountain. Four rooms look inside a Fes coloured patio (green and white) the orange bougainvillea dipping  in a small fountain in the calm of its shadow. Discover Fassi bedrooms

A way of life

“Taken from the Persian Garden, originally  of arabic-andalous gardens, the “KSAR” throw backin a great ornamental lake at its feet, where you will be able to swim surrounded by olive-trees, cactuses, and flowers. You can stretch under the” moucharabie” pavilion facing the “KSAR”on pastel colored Kilim cushions. In the great Patio, you can have Moroccan tea, at the sound of the fountain babble. You will have access to the terrace looking at an olive-tree sea emerging majestic palm trees. A cactus garden is planted in front of the Atlas. With the traditional “hammam” and its massage room, you can taste the delights of orientals baths and Argan oil care.”

The Palace flavors

The colors of Morocco can be found in the spices that make “the moroccan cuisine” the more renown and tasty of all Arabic countries. They sublimate the “tagines” of meat, fish, or vegetables. Exalt the “brochettes” cooked on charcoalThe Argan oil, only found in Morocco, goes with the different salads prepared. At breakfast, Khadija, our cook, will prepare the unforgettable traditional pancakes with sugar or honey that comes from the “Atlas” in front of you. The “Friday couscous” can also be of Fés, the imperial city, with onions, graoes and chicken. See more

The Garden of Eden
